This renovation of the old Avon Park Theater began with the build-out of two new apartments on the second story and then moved on to renovating the theater.  This project was supported with a NY State main street grant which updated the exterior façade and marquee and a total interior renovation.  The new theater updates included a new entrance way, concession area, and dining/catering elevated platform to accommodate a range of events.  Additionally, a new stage area and upgraded seating for over 100 people.  This renovation spanned 2 years and cost just under $1,000,000 when you include the two apartments.
